Course Tutor: Liz Musselwhite
Liz Musselwhite has been sewing since before she was old enough to go to school, having learned at the knee of her
mother and from her grandmother, both of whom were used to making all the clothing required in their households.
Liz has a go at anything to do with a needle, and has been an avid dress maker, knitter and beader over the years, but
her main love is Patchwork and Quilting.
Liz has an A level in Textiles, and City & Guilds in Patchwork & Quilting.
Her work has been exhibited at the NEC Festival of Quilts, and she has won 2 Judges merit awards for work exhibited at
the Quilts UK exhibitions in Malvern.
She also has been awarded a Best in Show for “The Star of Harvest” quilt at a southern counties exhibition.
“The Star of Harvest” has also been featured in advertisements in major quilting magazines for the Quilts UK
exhibition.
Liz is a member of the New Forest Quilting Group, and 3 of her quilts are currently part of a national travelling
exhibition appearing at quilt shows in Malvern, Sussex, Edinburgh and Exeter.

Testimonials
Dear Jane,
Thank you to you and Liz for such a special day yesterday. I felt refreshed and invigorated by my trip and by how much I learnt!
Things that made the day work well for me:
-
Lots of tea!
- Teaching in the morning with a chance to really get stuck in to a project in the afternoon.
-
A fantastic location.
-
Great company.
-
Cuddles from the puppies. (I didn't even know I liked dogs!)
-
Lots of extra information about tools, history, suppliers, finishing the project and more...
-
having something I'm proud of to take home.
I would love to come back for the applique course on the 16th October. I was wondering......
